The back bedroom, the loft conversion, the far end of the landing. Usually the router is too far away, with too much house in between.
A cabin or converted garage at the bottom of the garden is beyond most routers. A cable out to an access point is what actually solves it.
Solid walls, chimney stacks and foil-backed insulation all absorb signal. Older and stone-built properties suffer worst.
A signal that looks fine on the phone but cannot hold a call. More often a coverage problem than a speed one.
By the front door, because that is where the master socket happens to be. Moving the socket puts it somewhere more useful.

A supermarket extender halves your speed and leaves you with a second network name to keep switching between. We fit proper access points instead, wired back on Power over Ethernet, so a single cable carries the data and the power to wherever the unit needs to go.
Which one suits depends on the building, and we will advise on that before anything is ordered. Ubiquiti UniFi and TP-Link Omada cover most jobs, from one unit in a house to several across a business running under a single network name.
Weatherproof units are available for garden offices, outbuildings and yards. For business sites we can set up central management, a separate guest network, and seamless roaming so a call does not drop as someone walks from one end of the building to the other.

We survey the property, work out what will actually fix the coverage, and quote before any work starts. Homes and businesses, weekdays until 10pm.
Cat 6 cabling, data points and comms cabinets. Where the coverage will not reach, a cable is usually the answer.
Slow speeds and dropouts, usually down to old cabling or where the router sits. We test the line and advise on your options.
No dial tone, a crackling line or an intermittent fault. We locate it, and tell you whether it is yours to pay for or your provider’s.
New sockets, relocations and extensions run neatly, using the same genuine parts Openreach would fit.
