We specialise in fault finding. Whatever has gone wrong, we will locate it and rectify it where possible, and we work with any provider, so it makes no difference who you are with.

One telephone engineer can fix telephone faults from any provider. We can also run health checks and speed tests on the line, so if the fault is affecting your broadband as well we can deal with both on the same visit.

We will always work with our customers to get faults fixed and the service resumed in as short a time as possible. Every job carries a 12 month guarantee, and no job is too big, or too small.

Faults We Get Called Out To

If yours is not on the list, ring anyway. Thirty years in the trade means we have almost certainly seen it before.

No Dial Tone

Nothing at all when you pick up. Usually a break in the cable or a failed socket, and usually sorted the same visit.

Crackling or Noisy Line

Interference you can hear on calls. Often damp getting into a joint outside, or an ageing extension inside.

Intermittent Faults

Working one minute, dead the next. The hardest kind to pin down, which is exactly why a remote line test so often says everything is fine.

Damaged or Cut Cable

Hedge trimmers, nails, drills and building work. We joint the cable, reroute it out of harm’s way, and get you back up and running.

Broken or Loose Sockets

Cracked faceplates, sockets knocked off the wall, or wiring that has come adrift behind one. Replaced with genuine Openreach parts.

Untidy or Unsightly Wiring

Decades of extensions added by different hands. We sort out the mess, take out what is redundant, and hide what we can.

We Will Deal with Your Provider for You

It has been known for a provider to tell a customer the fault is internal when in fact it was theirs to fix. We will advise you after inspection which it is, so you are not paying for work that should be free.

Where the fault does sit with the provider, we are prepared to deal with them on your behalf. That usually gets a resolution a good deal faster than another round of hold music and another remote line test.

And because one telephone engineer can fix telephone faults from any provider, it makes no difference at all who you are with.
